Unstoppable domains, the application offering Ehtereum blockchain domains are getting hugely popular. This is the second app after CryptoKitties that is seeing viral activity on the network with people snapping up .crypto registry domains.
As blockchain goes mainstream, the demand for blockchain domains is rising exponentially. Unstoppable Domains offers domain registry building services to the users. More than thirty thousand (30K) .crypto transactions have been recorded within a day of the launch.
Demand for Ethereum blockchain domains will increase further
Unstoppable Domains, with headquarters in San Francisco, has started offering blockchain domain registries. And suddenly everybody wants one! The biggest advantage of a blockchain-based domain registry means that websites hosted on such domains are free from censors or unnecessary blocking by government authorities.
The wallet address of a user’s digital assets can be linked to the domain name, which will ultimately boost the security as well as transparency. Also, this does away with the need for text strings and immensely simplifies cryptocurrency payments.
Brad Kim, the founder dApp Unstoppable Domains, says that these domains are super easy to use. Earlier user has to undertake transactions and remember lengthy wallet addresses. Now, users have to remember the domain name for a transaction. More than fifty independent crypto addresses can be linked to a single domain to process transactions. These domains are also a great safeguard against unnecessary censorship that plagues many sectors today.
Unstoppable Domains becomes Top Ethereum app
Unstoppable Domains is now the Ethereum network’s top dApp. The recent thirty thousand (30K) transactions within a day have dwarfed the competition. Interestingly, Ethereum Network is miles ahead of the closest competitors like Tron or EOS in terms of the number of users, transaction activity and network value.
Unstoppable Domains has also registered around one hundred thousand (100K) .zil domains. In total, it has registered one hundred eighty thousand blockchain domains (180K) so far. Tim Draper, the perennial Bitcoin bull, backs the venture.
