OpenNode is in the early phases of its existence and the platform is working well so far for the lightning Bitcoin network users. The payment processor has now announced that it would allow users to transact as much as ten thousand dollars ($10000) or almost three (2.93) Bitcoins worth of Bitcoin absolutely free of cost.
Any new users registering on the network will automatically be sanctioned the limit of the free transactions and this would allow users to send and receive Bitcoin in the free transaction limit.
The platform welcomes the users with a welcome message explaining the first transactions would be absolutely free however to users with high volume transaction i.e. more than three Bitcoins a day this limit is pretty low.
Users may continue to use the service for a very low fee of one percent (1%) of transaction amount per transaction after their free credit processing limit runs out.
Special Discount for Nonprofit Organizations
The payment processor is also offering a larger sum in free transactions to non-profit organizations i.e. fifty thousand dollars in free transactions or almost fourteen and a half (14.65) Bitcoins.
