Big Time Studios has announced that its upcoming F2P MMO RPG has generated a revenue of $100M. The team has revealed that it reached a transaction volume of more than $230M by the playerbase.
The CEO of Big Time Studios, Ari Meilich stated, “Success in Web3 gaming hinges on creating compelling experiences with a player-focused economy at its core.”
What is Big Time and How does its NFT Ecosystem Work?
Big Time is an upcoming MMO RPG, and a Web3 game that puts together elements of action RPGs and MMO games. The best example would be elements from games like Diablo and World of Warcraft.
The players in this game are basically time travelers, struggling for the survival of mankind. It consists of procedurally generated dungeons and players engage in battles, clear objectives, and collect resources for crafting virtual goods. These virtual goods exist in its ecosystem in the form of NFTs.
Regarding its ecosystem, Meilich further added, “Our fair launch strategy, with no tokens for the team or investors, underscores our dedication to a player-first gaming universe, where rewards are awarded solely through gameplay.”
What’s Coming Ahead?
The CEO has clarified that Big Time Studios is first and foremost, a game company and their main priority is to deliver an immersive game. Their goal is to create a Twitch-worthy Web3 game. Big Time is still in the early phases, though, and new updates with plenty of additional features are underway.
