What’s the latest buzz among English language learners?

Here’s the buzz: English Forward got itself listed in the Email productivity suite, Mailbutler, along with other formal Universities. Now, students can choose English Forward as their preferred place of study. Mailbutler’s usual price is $6.50 per month but soon students with an EnglishForward.com email address will qualify for Mailbutler services FREE for life.

Mailbutler and English Forward is a match made in heaven for English language students like me. Touted as the email extension that does it all, Mailbutler offers “Message Templates” so you can write your emails faster and easier with easy-to-use templates. You can also use “Follow-up Reminders” and never miss opportunities because of forgotten emails again. Mailbutler keeps you in the loop so you can always stay on track.

Mitch Rankin, Co-Founder and CEO of English Forward, had inspired me towards my dream when he said, “We wanted to retain the foundation but build upon it — to allow the platform and community to advance Forward, which, in turn, helps the individuals seeking help on the site to move their own English skills Forward.”

My seemingly impossible dream

“So, you want to be an English writer?” I remembered my father asking me on the eve of my departure for a boarding school at the start of my University course. I can see in his face the incredulity and surprise when I answered “Yes”.

Admittedly, English is difficult to learn when all around me, my family and friends speak Urdu, Pakistan’s official national language. There was nothing congruent between the two languages but I’ve wanted a steady source of income and an international exposure would secure it.

Learning English would have been just an impossible dream until I came upon English Forward, a  “learn English” community, which grew into one of the top-visited and top respected website for individuals seeking to learn, improve, perfect or even teach, tutor and help others with their English.

EnglishForums.com developed past discussion forum and into the internet’s largest learn English Q&A site, with over 250 million unique visitors, hundreds of thousands of registered members (registration was never required), and 2 million question+answer threads.

Even more importantly, it became a home for some of the most generous individuals who provided their support and time to beginners or individuals seeking professional help with their English – whether for academic pursuits, career or personal goals.

Other plans by English Forward includes:

1) Modernizing the English Forward platform with blockchain.

2) Increasing the number of tools, activities, and content to provide a more comprehensive ecosystem for any “learn English” goals.

3) Implementing a rewards mechanism for the many contributors, linguists, professors, tutors and volunteers who provide help to users visiting the site.

I’ve read this somewhere and I’ve made it my prod stick: “In a world where everyone else is learning, if you don’t take your learning seriously you will fall behind.”

Make up your own and keep abreast of success through the English language. Did you know that at the rate English Forward is helping them, English speakers now outnumbered natives speakers by a ratio of 3 to 1.
