What is Ethereum?

It is open access to digital money and data-friendly services for everyone – no matter your background or location. It’s a community-built technology behind the cryptocurrency Ether (ETH) and thousands of applications you can use today. On it, you can write code that controls the money, and build applications accessible anywhere in the world without difficulties.

How can I get free Ethereum?

The cryptocurrency space is such that people can determine whether or not to invest in coins, and would also be able to make any money out of it. If you’re searching for easy yet legal methods to earn free Ethereum, that wouldn’t involve sticking your neck out at great danger. You can get it using the following ways to earn free Ethereum. Take a look and try one for size,

Ethereum Faucets

Ethereum faucets are the favorite way to earn free Ethereum. And some of them even give away other cryptos: BTC, LTC, and DOGE to name but a few.

How does a free faucet work?

It’s a website or a smartphone app that displays a lot of intrusive ads. The faucet makes a good amount of money from advertisers who spend their budgets on these ads. Of course, the biggest part of this amount becomes profit, but there’s also a part of the amount that comes into users’ pockets, for watching the ads.

Most webmasters struggle to make ends meet. As a result, these websites come and go. So you run the risk of not getting your rewards if you work on the wrong ETH faucet. But if you use the best ETH faucet and withdraw your amount earned regularly, you should be fine. The best faucets include: Allcoins and  Fire Faucet

Buy and Sell

Ethereum buy and sell also means trading the digital asset. You can purchase Ethereum and trade it for a higher value when the market favors you most. There is not much difference between trading ETH and other cryptocurrencies. You need to have coins, an Eth wallet and a platform to trade on.

Ethereum Mining

Ether can be earned through block rewards. Ethereum Mining is a computationally in-depth work that requires a lot of time and processing power. Miners get rewards in their Ethereum wallets for solving complex math problems via blockchain technology, just like bitcoin mining

Today, crypto mining has seen a major resurgence in recent days. With the help of a PC, a wallet for Ethereum and software, you can earn free Ethereum through mining and receive rewards.

Crypto airdrops

An airdrop is a blockchain project created to give out free tokens — literally. But why do blockchain projects give away free cryptocurrencies? It appears it is to create a community of fidelity by rewarding the loyalty of the users.

Now, you should know that you will not earn free Ethereum directly. But you will earn free Ethereum by receiving ERC-20 tokens, generated on the Ethereum blockchain. Indeed, most projects (like 95% of them) use this standard with their Smart Contracts.

When you have the tokens, you can store them in wallet Ethereum – Ledger or Trezor is recommended to the end. Wallets Ethereum are applications that make it easy to hold and send ETH, as well as interact with applications built on Ethereum.

If free ETH seems like something you will be interested in getting, then this review is a good starting point. However, take note that although earning free Ethereum adds to what you already have, the total gain might be insignificant. Is free Ethereum IO legit?

The outcome of our investigation about free Ethereum IO is that it is reliable trading software. It is a cryptocurrency trading solution that can deliver desirable trading results. The free Ethereum IO is safe and functions excellently.

How do you make money with Ethereum?

Ethereum  has more to offer than being a cryptocurrency, it can be used for smart contracts and building distributed applications (DApps). It is still affordable for investors. So if you want to make some money with it, you will have lots of avenues to explore.

Buying and Selling ETH

At the beginning of 2017, the price of ETH was around $7. Today, its price is around $800. Along the way, the price has seen its ups and downs, even reaching around $1250 at one point. So if you want to delve into ETH speculation, you can make money from buying on the downswings and selling on the upswings. You will need a digital Ethereum wallet, a cryptocurrency exchange, and a strong stomach to handle the excitement.

Investing in Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs)

Entrepreneurs are building applications around the Ethereum ecosystem. Distributed applications like search engines, cloud storage, and social media platforms are being developed using the Ethereum backbone. These companies are offering ICOs to fund their projects. Even though these might be long-term and high-risk investments, you might end up funding the next Google or Facebook like company.

Mining for Ether

Instead of directly buying ethers, you can use your home computers to earn them through mining. However, you need a bit of technical knowledge and business acumen to become a crypto-miner. Using your computer for mining will cost you money in hardware and energy bills. You can use the Ethereum Mining Calculator to estimate profit potentials. Check for the legitimacy of any crypto-mining cooperative.

Working as a Freelance Developer

Experienced programmers who don’t want the headache of building their own applications can help other entrepreneurs make their dream come true. Programmers with Ethereum knowledge are in high demand. If you are already an expert programmer, add Ethereum to your skillset and see the demand for your freelance services skyrocket.

Creating Content About Ethereum

Today all of us are content creators. Our comments, writing, images, and videos are all content that has value. Ethereum is a hot topic. So you can write blogs and make videos on YouTube to help others understand the potential of it. If you can attract enough eyeballs, it can create a revenue stream for you.

Creating Coursework

Even in the cryptocurrency world, a lot of users don’t understand Ethereum. It’s a complex topic with many areas to explore. You can create courses on Udemy, Lynda, or Udacity about it to teach others. Teaching is considered one of the best ways to learn a topic. Organizing a course can also help you deepen your knowledge while creating a source of income.

Anybody can mine 1 ETH per day. It takes no rocket science, however, there are two concepts that it takes: a high res graphic card and loads of dollars.

You need to know them before you start mining it. These concepts would tell you the difficulties you are going to face during the Ether mining process.

A high res Graphics card is a must if you want to mine Ether.  RADEON R9 295X2 is recommended for this exercise. Boasting a hash rate of approximately 45 MH/s, it would consume 470W of electricity at its peak power.

That said, you DO NOT need only 1 Graphics card to make Ether. Instead, to make 1 Ether, you need 31 RADEON R9295X2 Graphic cards. And since 1 Radeon R9 295 X2 GPU costs $500 on Amazon, 31 such cards will cost $15,500.

Once you have purchased them, turn your attention to the power consumption cost of mining 1 Ether. When operating at its peak performance, 1 Ether would require the consumption of 14,570 W of electricity per hour by the rig. Multiply it by 24 hours for the whole day, and you’re looking at 41.96 USD per day in the power consumption costs alone.

Add this cost to the purchase cost of a Graphics card, and you’re probably looking at an upfront investment of $16,000 to mine Ether.

Conclusion

It’s pretty clear that almost any other job would generate you more than $0.5-1 per hour without exposing you to extra risks. Of course, some apps and games might be fun, but from an investment standpoint, there are far better alternatives. And remember that nothing ever comes without efforts!

Ethereum is an exciting technology with lots of potential for innovation. If you can take advantage of the right opportunity, you can make money while learning and having fun.
