Google has announced the global expansion of its AI chatbot Gemini, reaching over 150 countries, including India. This expansion marks a significant step in Google’s efforts to broaden the accessibility of its innovative AI technologies across diverse linguistic and cultural landscapes.

Gemini, initially available in English, Japanese, and Korean languages, is now accessible to users in over 150 countries. Google plans to further extend language support and availability to additional territories, aligning with local regulations and the company’s AI principles.

Gemini introduces groundbreaking features aimed at simplifying and optimizing the ad creation process for advertisers. Leveraging AI capabilities, the chatbot analyzes website URLs provided by advertisers and generates relevant images, headlines, descriptions, and keywords for search ads. This streamlined approach empowers advertisers by automating tedious tasks and harnessing AI-driven insights to enhance ad performance.

Conversational Chatbot interface

A notable addition to Gemini is its conversational chatbot interface, facilitating direct interaction between advertisers and the system. This interface allows advertisers to provide feedback, seek clarification, and request modifications throughout the ad creation.

Following the recent rollout of Gemini 1.0 Ultra, Google is poised to unveil the next iteration of its Language Model (LLM) with Gemini 1.5. Alphabet’s CEO, Sundar Pichai, highlighted the significant advancements achieved in Gemini 1.5, emphasizing its enhanced performance and efficiency compared to previous versions. 

Notably, Gemini 1.5 Pro achieves comparable quality to 1.0 Ultra while utilizing fewer computational resources, demonstrating Google’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in AI development.
