titelbild2The non-profit association moinworld e.V. invites the Blockchain community to the moinblockchain Conference 2019 in Hamburg for the third year in a row. The event under the motto “Diversity meets tech innovation” will take place on October 18th at the innovation campus of the HSBA in the heart of Hamburg and will bring together
experts as well as beginners. The program includes lectures and panel discussions with renowned international speakers as well as hands-on sessions on the subject of Blockchain and related future technologies.
The lectures provide information on the basics, current technological challenges and potential of new technologies. At the same time, networking and learning will be the focus of the conference. During the support market sessions, visitors can exchange ideas with experts, companies and speakers and gain concrete insights into the technology as well as an outlook on its future areas of application.
“Blockchain technology is currently one of the most exciting and diverse topics in the IT sector. We want to bring experts and newcomers together and demystify even complex and highly technical topics,” emphasizes moinworld founder Anja Schumann. This year again, the conference is guided by the principle of supporting women in successfully advancing their IT careers. “Our mission is a more inclusive IT world” the success of recent years has shown us that there is willingness and support from all sides for a more feminine IT.
In order to attract more women to the innovative Blockchain scene, moinworld has also set itself the goal of attracting many female speakers and having at least 50 percent female guests on site. Katharina Fegebank, Second Mayor and Senator for Equality of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, will open the conference as patron.
The moinworld team founder Anja Schumann once again invites an international audience and speakers from various nations and disciplines to the Hanseatic city, among them are leading speakers from IBM, ConsenSys, HSBA, B9lab and Parity Technologies.
