Cronos partnered with Revolut to promote education on crypto, Web3 gaming, and DeFi. The two entities developed the Cronos Learn course, which is currently available on the Revolut application.
Cronos recently announced a partnership with Revolut that aimed to promote mass education on cryptocurrencies and the decentralized finance arena. The Cronos Learn course educates learners on how to secure and manage a crypto portfolio. The course also equips learners with knowledge of Web3 gaming and how to navigate the Cronos ecosystem.
Upon completing the course, learners will gain knowledge about the Cronos blockchain and its characteristics including its utility token CRO. Participants will understand in depth Cronos’ three chains including the Cronos EVM-compatible chain, the Ethereum-compatible Cosmos SDK, and the high performance Ethereum-secured layer 2 network, Cronos zkEVM.
The Cronos Learn course debuts on the Revolut application
The course’s participants will also learn the infrastructure of the Cronos network and how users can capitalize on the Cronos blockchain to meet their Web3 objectives. The course will also equip learners with knowledge of non-fungible tokens and the aspects that make Web3 gaming unique.
Revolut is among the largest fintech entities in Europe. The platform hosts more than 45 million retail users globally and facilitates transactions in over 160 countries. The Revolut app supports more than 36 currencies and allows the buying and selling of digital assets. This partnership aims to provide civic education to Revolut users on crypto and the entire Web3 arena.
How users will access the learning materials
To enroll in the Cronos Learn course, participants will first need to download an updated version of the Revolut application. The application is available for both Android and iOS users on Google Play Store and App Store respectively. After downloading and installing the app, users will have to log in and navigate to the Crypto section by opening the application and tapping the “crypto” icon on the bottom menu.
In the crypto section, participants will tap the “Discover and Learn button” and scroll all the way to the “Learn” section. They will then select the “Cronos Learn” course and begin lessons. After the lessons, the course presents a small quiz that will give the learners a chance to test their knowledge and brainstorm their understanding.
The alliance between Cronos and Revolut strives to put the crypto industry on the map. The civic education provided in the course showcases the entities’ efforts to promote the mainstream adoption of digital assets as investments and a medium of exchange for goods and services.
