However, as we can see from this chart’s most recent (red) candle, the market now appears uncertain as to where DOGE will go next. If we look at the daily chart for DOGE, we can see this confusion in more detail:
This chart shows DOGE’s early-November pump, which was followed by a slower grind upwards as the price lost its momentum, and investors began taking profits.
Ultimately, that profit-taking led to a steeper drop towards the green diagonal trend line – and the price has not recovered so far.
Dogecoin bulls could make a case for price suppression here, in which an “inverse Bart” move (a vertical pump straight back up towards $0.485) would be a reasonable expectation. That said, the DOGE price is continuing to slowly move down towards the green diagonal trend line.
If the price breaks through that level, $0.30 and $0.23 would be the support levels to watch.
In the event of a dip towards $0.23, the price of DOGE would fall by approximately 44%.
Therefore, the most likely scenario for Dogecoin moving into 2025 is currently a dip, with $0.30 as a key support level. Such a move could happen very quickly, and the following recovery stage would most likely take several weeks or a few months to play out.
Naturally, a large Dogecoin dip would not bode well for established meme coins that have already benefited from strong bullish moves this year – but it could create new opportunities for the latest meme coin market entrants
