Bitget rolls out advanced automated trading capabilities after upgrading its Agent Hub with Skills and CLI. The upgrade will allow AI agents, such as OpenClaw, to access real-time market data and execute automated trading activities across spot and futures markets.
Bitget exchange has announced a major upgrade to its Agent Hub, which gathers AI-era crypto trading infrastructure for developers and Vibe Coders. The upgrade introduces two core modules, Skills and a command-line interface (CLI) to the exchange’s trading ecosystem, completing a full invocation stack alongside the MCP support and REST/WebSocket APIs launched last month.
New Bitget Skills Module lets AI agents execute trades via OpenClaw
Bitget has laid the foundation for AI trading, as AI trading continues to gain steam in the crypto ecosystem. The MCP, API, Skills, and CLI will coexist on the platform to form an end-to-end pathway that connects AI models, developer tooling, and real trading execution. According to the exchange’s official announcement, the modules will jointly allow developers and AI agents to access market data, run strategies, and execute trades with significantly less friction.
The newly-launched Skills mechanism lets AI agents such as Claude Code and OpenClaw automatically interpret users’ trading intent and trigger real-time actions via bgc. The mechanism exposes the full API suite with standardized JSON output, enabling smooth integration for scripts, data pipelines, and system-level AI agent workflows. The principle means agents can move from analysis to execution with minimal setup.
After the upgrade, Bitget Agent Hub now supports nine core capability modules and 58 tools. Developers can connect Bitget Agent Hub to OpenClaw in about three minutes via a simple three-step configuration. The connection will allow AI agents to gain real-time market data for spot and futures trading while simultaneously executing account and asset management services for users. The upgrade represents a move toward an AI-driven, autonomous onchain and off-chain trading environment, according to Bitget.
Bitget CEO says AI will allow retail traders to trade like Wall Street traders
Gracy Chen, CEO at Bitget, said the upgrade aligns with the exchange’s mission to allow “125 million users and beyond trade like Wall Street pros.” He noted that AI trading is still a new concept and requires more education and trust, but emphasized that its inflection point is approaching.
Bitget’s previous upgrade in February 2026 allowed the platform’s ecosystem to natively support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling AI models to directly invoke Bitget trading capabilities. The company said AI agents can both consume real-time market data and execute live trading actions, moving from market understanding to real participation through its MCP integration.
The upgrade complements Bitget’s comprehensive, low-latency REST and WebSocket API suite spanning spot, futures, and copy trading, providing developers with a reliable foundation for building automated trading systems. Traders can also build quantitative strategies and AI-native trading applications on the exchange’s platform.
