Recently, Telegram announced its integration into the crypto market after negotiating with the leading exponents in the digital industry. Telegram launched a dedicated token in previous months, but that project declined due to a lack of a good structure.
The crypto market is increasingly involved in messaging apps, and this technology may be renewed in these months.
Telegram accepts payments in cryptocurrencies
Telegram and The TON organization partnership, and now the messaging company will accept TonCoin crypto as a means of payment. TonCoin will be available for fee-free crypto payments among Telegram users. The interface will allow negotiations with Bitcoin so that the project will gain more receptivity among fans.
The messaging company would have abandoned its crypto project after the top US regulator, SEC, sued them. By 2019, the regulatory agency accused the Telegram director of promoting illegal crypto. This was motivated by the initial offer that the company raised for that date. Eventually, the company director paid the fine valued at $1,700 M and reimbursed the funds of those involved in the project.
After almost three years, the company director has reactivated the crypto project differently. TonCoin’s goal is to link the entire community in Telegram with cryptocurrencies and thus give them a correct use. The crypto will be used by content creators and companies that use the interface to do their business.
Crypto Toncoin recovers its price
Toncoin recovers its price after the latest announcements by messaging company and the TON organization. Since the crypto project made its first advances in 2019, the token has risen in price, reaching an ATH of $5.84 and then falling to over 68 percent in value.
The crypto improved its price after the partnership with Telegram was officially announced. Today TON is trading at $1.83 per unit with a market capitalization of over $2,200,000,000.
Telegram has not been the only messaging interface that accepts crypto payments because, since December 2021, Whatsapp has used the Paxos stablecoin within its system. No wonder other platforms like Hangouts join the growing crypto projects and release their dedicated token to be accepted within their interface. This week, the crypto trade balanced, causing tokens like Bitcoin to trade above $38,000.
