Per the latest developments in crypto space, Opera, the Norwegian web browser has now expanded its crypto services and has included some member states of the European Union in the list of four other countries, via collaboration with a U.S based digital currency remittance platform, Wyre.
Opera crypto integration services in Europe
Per the official press release published by the Opera browser, the plan of extending Opera crypto integration services to more EU members along with Switzerland, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand through its partnership with Wyre.
Moreover, this partnership of Opera and Wyre would likely eliminate the middleman, and Opera Android customers can carry out the cryptocurrency transactions from the crypto wallet of Opera, directly.
Crypto Lead at the Opera browser, Charles Hamel stated that acquiring cryptocurrency even without an exchange makes the process for Opera users easy by directly using the wallet. The expansion of this unique feature to a larger region is the key to promoting the adoption of blockchain.
He furthers that the company is excited to be expanding its collaboration with Wyre as they would be delivering the best experience of crypto buying to more states.
Reportedly, Opera in association with Wyre has introduced Bitcoin and Ether payment options for the Opera users in the United States. With the recent expansion, now in 28 countries users could buy Bitcoin and Ether on the Opera browser via MasterCard or Visa debit card through this Opera crypto integration.
Countries that can now avail of this feature include, U.S, Italy, Australia, Greece, Mexico, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, New Zealand, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Netherlands, among others.
