Ctrl, formerly known as XDEFI, has launched a new browser extension for its self-study wallet. With this extension, users can manage all their assets across more than 2,300 blockchains including Bitcoin, Solana, Ethereum, Cosmos, and THORChain as the prominent names.
It brings all the assets under one platform aimed to make self-custody simpler. Users will be able to connect to decentralized apps, swap tokens between chains, view their whole portfolio, and even find funds they may have forgotten about.
A distinct feature of the extension is the Gas Tank. This feature addresses the widespread problem of gas fees in crypto.
With the Gas Tank users can pay all on-chain fees in just one balance of $USDC or $CTRL, across any blockchain. It also means that they don’t need to hold multiple tokens to pay for gas fees.
Users can use the unified portfolio view to manage holdings within different accounts and blockchains
According to Emile Dubié, Co-Founder and CEO of Ctrl, this extension will make “self-custody as user-friendly as possible”.
With Ctrl Wallet, users can use the unified portfolio view to manage holdings across multiple accounts and blockchains. It allows users to discover assets spread over new and forgotten accounts that share a single seed phrase, as well as hidden tokens on custom networks.
With over half a million users the wallet ranks within the top 5 multi–ecosystem wallets with the highest ratings on the Google Chrome Store. All accounts and funds of XDEFI Wallet existing users will automatically be migrated into Ctrl Wallet.
Dubié added. “We are building a wallet to put power back in the hands of end users, to be able to control their assets and all those great things crypto has to offer.”
It takes 15 seconds for seasoned crypto enthusiasts and newcomers who are trying out crypto for the first time to set up their Ctrl Wallet.
Users can download the extension from Ctrl’s official website.
