WOO X announced the launch of the Swap Spotlight feature, which allowed CEX users to easily trade early-stage tokens with real-time price quotes from market makers. The WOO X team claimed that early-stage tokens faced a liquidity squeeze since market volatility made it harder for underfunded projects to compete with better-funded ones.
Bryan Chu, chief strategy officer at WOO X, said WOO X Swap Spotlight offered early access to tokens and opportunities before their prices were fully discovered. He added that the price was guaranteed–with no slippage–since it was an RFQ (Request for Quote) model, and users paid exactly what they saw on the screen.
According to WOO X Research, early-stage tokens were facing a liquidity squeeze as market volatility, driven by U.S. fiscal shifts and global uncertainties, made it harder for underfunded projects to compete with better-funded ones. To solve these issues, WOO X launched Swap Spotlight, a new feature under ‘Markets’ alongside Spot and Futures, which allowed CEX users to easily trade early-stage tokens with real-time price quotes from market makers, offering instant execution without the common slippage in DEXs.
WOO X launches Swap Spotlight to solve early-stage token trading
WOO X launched Swap Spotlight to improve the visibility of new tokens and solve any issues related to their liquidity. However, the WOO X team clarified that these tokens were only available through Swap Spotlight–not on standard spot and futures markets. The WOO X team believes that the tokens will eventually become available in the global market once they gain popularity.
The WOO X team also mentioned that Swap Spotlight allowed traders to have early access to promising tokens with guaranteed trade execution and no price slippage. According to the team, this prevented traders from missing out on emerging token opportunities and gave these projects greater visibility and instant liquidity beyond typical DEXs.

Chu put it into perspective by pointing out that this was similar to over-the-counter (OTC) trading, where buy or sell orders did not impact the market price, unlike typical market buys and sells that usually caused price fluctuations.
