Unstoppable Domains blockchain browser set to redefine web browsing
Web 3.0 is all about online freedom, Internet-of-Things, and user privacy. Besides simplifying the user access, it will also enhance the security features hitherto known in the current generation of browsers.
The peer-to-peer transactions feature on these browsers will help avoid intermediaries. The excessive censorship will be taken care of as well.
Chief executive officer of Unstoppable Domains, Matthew Gould, said that decentralized web pioneers free speech. The blockchain browser will make the decentralized browsing experience much more coherent.
Moreover, this new project is in sync with the company’s aim to create blockchain-powered websites that are not prone to censors. They are also capable of undertaking cryptocurrency payments. These websites use the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) for storage and can be stored on a user’s wallet.
Building Web 3.0 one block at a time
Last year, a .crypto domain registry was launched by Unstoppable Domains. The registry, powered by Ethereum blockchain, helps receive cryptocurrency payments using only the domain name. Decentralized social media networks will also be developed in the next few years.
Many other prominent blockchain browsers are already gracing the market. Opera launched support for cryptocurrency transactions. Brave achieved a similar feat when they added support for crypto adoption and many decentralized-focused privacy features.
