OORT DataHub, a decentralized AI data collection solution dApp platform, has launched on Binance Wallet, making it available across multiple chains. It has already accumulated over 300K registered users, with over 80K interacting with the platform daily.
OORT integrating into Binance Wallet opens access to its decentralized AI data collection platform for over 486 million Binance users worldwide. In a press release shared with Cryptopolitan, it says the company aims to bridge the gap between traditional centralized data collection systems, which have fallen short amid increased demand for high-quality, diverse, and unbiased datasets. Conventional centralized systems have been flagged with ethical and transparency concerns, making them unable to deliver the required scale and variety of data.
OORT gears towards growth as the AI data market expands
According to a report by the Grand View Research, the data collection and labelling market is expected to grow to $17.10 billion by 2030 from $3.77 billion in 2024. The rising demand for high-quality data for training ML and AI models is expected to fuel the growth. The decentralized data collection platform has already registered over 300k users, with over 80k interacting with the platform daily.
According to a report, the AI market is expected to grow from $371.71 billion in 2025 to $2407.02 billion in 2032 at a CAGR of 30.6%. Infrastructure components, including computing, storage, and data management, accounted for 15-25% of the total AI spending of around $20.4-24 billion in the 2022 market. Based on the estimates, capturing just 1% of infrastructure spending would present decentralized solutions with an $880 million opportunity.
OORT DataHub has revealed that several user-contributed datasets have ranked in the top spot in multiple categories on Google’s Kaggle. The decentralized data collection platform incentivized the community to contribute to data collection for AI training in exchange for USDT rewards.
OORT plans to make data collection seamless
According to OORT, integrating into Binance Wallet aims to make data collection seamless and allow users across the chains to interact with the platform without struggle. The company believes the partnership is a strategic step to bridge the Web2 and Web3 space by enabling participation from researchers and developers in various industries, as more quality datasets become readily available.
Binance Smart Chain (BSC) is expected to benefit from the collaboration by strengthening its position in the ecosystem as a hub of innovation and attracting new developers.
OORT operates on the Olympus protocol, providing enterprises and individuals with decentralized AI products. The company focused on three core areas: OORT DataHub for data collection and labelling, OORT Storage for data storage, and OORT Compute for model training.
