XRP ETFs were the only bright spot among the four major crypto funds last week, bringing in $11.31 million while investors withdrew nearly $1.25 billion from Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana ETFs during the week ending October 9.

Data from SoSoValue on October 11 show that Bitcoin ETFs lost $681.1 million, followed by Ethereum with $542.07 million and Solana with $24.81 million in withdrawals. In total, they had a combined outflow of $1.248 billion, and the XRP tokens were able to make up only 0.91% of that loss. This resulted in the four ETFs having approximately $1.237 billion in net outflow.

It is also interesting to note that the XRP tokens’ total weekly inflow occurred in just two trading days. In particular, investors brought in $3.14 million on October 6 and $8.17 million on October 8.

Bitcoin was particularly strong on Monday, climbing more than 1% to reach $84,150. Previous market patterns suggested a shakeout on August 8 near the $80,000 support area, which was followed by a four-day recovery move that took Bitcoin above $84,000.

On the other hand, US equity index futures were split ahead of another round of corporate results and inflation data. S&P 500 futures rose by 0.1%, while Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were up 26 points, or 0.06%. Nasdaq 100 futures, on the other hand, retreated by 0.12%.

What to Know

Crypto funds are facing a major test of investor confidence, and XRP is heading into the new trading week as the unlikely exception.
