The privacy-focussed and blockchain-powered digital advertising platform Brave browser has joined forces with Binance, the world’s leading blockchain company and creator of the largest cryptocurrency trading platform, to enable Brave users to buy, sell and trade cryptocurrencies directly through the web page, Brave announced it officially on Tuesday.

Brave browser grabbed the headlines last year for emerging as the most preferred web browser in Japan. In December, it witnessed a massive surge in demand and reported nineteen percent (19%) growth in monthly active users ever since it launched its revolutionary Brave 1.0., implying that this digital platform is no stranger to success.

The Brave platform developed Basic Attention Token (BAT) upped its popularity quotient across the globe by offering multiple ways to redeem the tokens and earn rewards. On Tuesday, it announced a significant partnership with Binance, that will allow it to extend its service beyond BAT.

Brave browser & Binance partnership set to take cryptocurrency mainstream

According to the latest release, the next time you open a new page on the Brave browser, you will be prompted with a Binance widget, positioned just below the Brave Rewards widget. The widget is directly integrated with the primary exchange site Binance.com and its US-based entity Binance US.

Following the new integration, Brave will not only become the first-ever browser to offer a built-in functionality for cryptocurrency trading but will also enable Brave users to start buying and selling crypto on Binance.com or Binance US, along with options to view account balance, fetch deposit addresses, and much more, all without having to leave the browser.

Basically, the newly-integrated Binance widget will facilitate seamless management of cryptocurrency accounts, buying, selling, and trading of cryptocurrencies, deposits, and withdrawals and viewing order summaries.

Brendan Eich, Brave co-founder, and CEO shed light on the partnership by stating many users could find cryptocurrency trading to be a complicated task. They are still unsure of the risks and complications involved in it. Thus, by bringing on the world’s most trusted crypto trading platform to Brave, we are not only helping in taking cryptocurrency adoption mainstream but also instilling trust and security, added Eich.

Commenting further on the partnership, Binance CEO and the world’s wealthiest crypto entrepreneur, Changpeng Zhao, said that since the Binance widget is in-built Brave browser functionality and there is no question of compromising the user’s privacy. With this association, we are looking forward to simplifying and streamlining the daunting task of cryptocurrency trading, Zhao stated confidently.
