5TARS.io said the migration would see its games, like the 5TARS football game, ported to the Concordium blockchain. It said the blockchain would be the home of all its future releases. 5TARS.io said the migration was expected to be completed by the end of March.
The gaming platform added that the migration would allow it to benefit from a scalable blockchain layer with features like geo-referencing and age verification. It announced that the New 5TARS.io games slated for deployment on Concordium would include a cricket game for India, scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2025. The platform added that its existing Starzpay MENA cricket game debuted on Concordium last month.
5TARS.io said its football game had over 250,000 registered users and 20,000 monthly active users. It added that the 5TARS football players joined over 1,720,000 arenas and traded 450,000 NFTs.
The gaming platform added that its social media community was more than 200,000 across Telegram, X and Discord. The company added that the 5TARS football game saw increased activity during Euro 2024 and attracted 45,000 active players.
The company praised Concordium’s infrastructure, saying it was optimised for high throughput and performance and supported privacy-focused identity verification. 5TARS.io said the infrastructure’s geo-referencing enabled zero-knowledge proofs critical for the gaming, betting and gambling industries. It added that the proofs were necessary for compliance and geographical expansion.
The platform explained its move, saying it had shifted from the SKALE EVM to Concordium to enable strategic expansion across multiple regions. It added that the move would help it address performance, scalability and compliance challenges.

The CCO added that they would provide the necessary infrastructure and tools to create the best Web3 games, unlocking new opportunities for player ownership and fan management.
