Tonkeeper launches dApp browser for TON on Telegram

- Tonkeeper launched a new dApp browser on Telegram to make it easier for users to access and interact with decentralized apps right within the app.
- The browser integrates popular dApps like Ston.fi, Ton Mobile, and Wizzwoods, providing users with access to DeFi, games, and more without leaving Telegram.
- The TON ecosystem was affected by Pavel Durov’s arrest, causing Toncoin’s price to drop over 22%, but it’s slowly recovering.
Tonkeeper just launched its new dApp browser on Telegram, throwing open the doors wider to the TON ecosystem. The dApp browser is built right into the Tonkeeper wallet, which means you can now explore all the best apps TON has to offer straight from Telegram.
Tonkeeper’s got more than 10 partners on board right from the start. They’re covering all the bases—DeFi, utilities, and more. The idea is to get more people using TON without leaving the comfort of Telegram.
Leading the charge is Ston.fi, a decentralized exchange (DEX) where users can swap hundreds of TON assets quickly. If you’re into swapping tokens, this is one you’ll want to check out.
Then there’s Ton Mobile. This is an eSIM provider that operates in over 150 countries. So, if you’re traveling and don’t want to deal with roaming charges, Ton Mobile’s got you covered right within the dApp browser.
And let’s not forget Wizzwoods, the first Pixel Farm game with a bit of a twist—it integrates interchain capabilities with a touch of social finance (SoFi). It’s like a mashup of gaming and finance, right in the TON ecosystem.
The gaming scene on Tonkeeper’s dApp browser is stacked too. You’ve got RPG quest TON Heroes, Zoomania Fishing (which is handing out airdrops to players soon), and arcade games like Akedo.Â
If you’re into next-gen gaming, there’s All At Once, a Triple-A game on TON. This lineup is just the beginning. More dApps will be added as Tonkeeper continues to onboard new partners.
The broader TON ecosystem has faced some rough patches lately. Pavel Durov’s arrest on August 24, sent shockwaves through the market. Toncoin took a beating, dropping over 22% from around $6.80 to $5.20 almost overnight.
At press time, Toncoin has bounced back a bit, trading around $5.51. Still, it’s clear that the price is taking its sweet time to recover fully. The market cap sits around $16.85 billion, with a 24-hour trading volume of about $233.79 million.
