TL;DR

The widely anticipated Justin Sun Warren Buffett meeting has now been set off to a later date. The story surfaced after a tweet from the Tron Foundation was sent out, detailing a medical complication that Sun was apparently facing.

Sun was reportedly unwell due to kidney stones, and as a result, both parties had reached an agreement over the rescheduling of the event.

The lunch had originally been scheduled for the 25th of July. It had been arranged as the winning prize for a recently held charity auction. Sun had reportedly swept up the prize after casting a staggering four point six million dollar ($4.6 million) bid.

Having won over the chance to meet one of the finance world’s most esteemed figures, Sun apparently sought to covet Buffett’s views of the crypto sector. Buffet has been notoriously anti-crypto, and has voiced some strong opinions regarding the crypto scene and Bitcoin, which he once called ‘rat poison’.

Sun had reportedly viewed the event as a convergence of an emerging financial force with a traditional one.

Over the past few weeks, Sun had been actively identifying and roping in other reputed figures in the crypto scene for the meeting. Just a few days back, he had tweeted out an invitation to the founder of eToro, who had accepted the chance to be at this landmark event.

Despite the lunch meeting being quite the talk of the town in the crypto scene, the intricacies of what would be discussed during it are unknown.
