KuCoin has launched KuCoin Institutional to serve institutions, strategic partners, and professional investors. The launch builds on KuCoin’s core brand value, ‘Trust First. Trade Next.’, emphasizing its commitment to delivering secure, compliant, and high-performance infrastructure.

KuCoin stated that it is building for the next phase of digital asset adoption and has a long-term strategy to strengthen market trust. It aims to bridge the evolving digital economy with traditional finance.

The company has elaborated that KuCoin Institutional integrates advanced infrastructure, liquidity, and compliance frameworks designed for institutions, brokers, and quantitative traders. The upgraded model will enhance KuCoin’s capabilities across three pillars: finance and wealth management, institutional and VIP product enhancements, and technological infrastructure and compliance strategy. These are expected to offer a comprehensive institutional service matrix.

Wong says KuCoin wants to be future-ready

The CEO of KuCoin, BC Wong, said KuCoin Institutional marks a major milestone for his company and represents a significant step closer to fulfilling its mission of building a trusted and future-ready financial ecosystem. He added that combining world-class infrastructure with robust compliance and liquidity frameworks allows KuCoin to empower institutions to participate in the digital asset economy with confidence and efficiency.

The platform also provides simplified access to liquidity and VIP programs, customized trading interfaces, and asset management solutions. KuCoin claims that institutional investors will benefit from 24/7 ultra-low-latency trading, as well as client and technical support.

KuCoin also offers advanced trading capabilities, including diversified collateral management and capital efficiency. Its strategic partnerships enable third-party custody and OffExchange Settlement (OES) for capital efficiency and improved compliance.

KuCoin Institutional expands into CaaS

KuCoin Institutional is further expanding into CaaS (Crypto-as-a-Service), which will allow its partners to integrate KuCoin’s technology and liquidity interface. The integration aims to enhance its partners’ operations.

KuCoin Institutional will also help push initiatives in real-world tokenization. The company aims to connect blockchain markets with traditional finance.

KuCoin mentioned that its KuCoin Institutional initiative will strengthen its partnerships and enhance its custody services. The company is also looking to promote initiatives in digital asset innovation and enhance its settlement ecosystem.

KuCoin believes this will position it as a leading bridge between traditional finance and the world’s digital economy. KuCoin Institutional provides a comprehensive institutional ecosystem that encompasses liquidity access, risk management, and global compliance.

CaaS, which KuCoin refers to as blockchain’s SaaS moment, is gaining momentum, and KuCoin believes it is accelerating blockchain adoption. CaaS enables banks, fintechs, and payment processors to integrate digital assets through white-label platforms and APIs.

With CaaS, KuCoin believes deployment time will reduce significantly from years to just days. The company noted that major players such as Western Union, Coinbase, and BitGo are utilizing CaaS to provide stablecoins, custody services, and cross-border payments.

Meanwhile, RWA tokenization and DeFi protocols are expanding institutional use cases, according to KuCoin. CaaS is expected to drive mainstream adoption by simplifying blockchain complexity and enabling smooth, cost-effective integration.
