Grayscale files for spot XRP ETF

Crypto asset manager Grayscale Investments has filed for Spot $XRP ETF with the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in a move that could drive cryptocurrency adoption.
Responding to a post on the X platform, some enthusiasts described the development as great news in the cryptocurrency ecosystem as a Spot ETF could provide easier access.
“Grayscale’s move to file for a Spot $XRP ETF with the NYSE could open new doors for institutional investment and broader adoption of XRP,” said one user identified as Keeny.

Earlier this month, the NYSE reportedly had filed a 19b-4 form to list and trade Grayscale’s Litecoin Trust in an effort to ensure better security and clearer rules around custody.
