Cryptocurrency has a major following amongst football fans and now FC Bayern Munich blockchain based token, card and merchandise would further boost the mass adoption.
Animoca brand’s subordinate, Stryking Entertainment, has signed a licensing partnership with famous German football club “FC Bayern Munich” in order to manufacture and dispense blocked-chain based digital goods.
The said goods are said to be based around FC Bayern players. These players include many famous Bayern payers like Manuel Neuer, Phillipe Coutinho, and Lucas Hernandez, etc.

Stryking Entertainment has also established a game-play for the FC Bayern Munich blockchain based token along with a digital collectible known as the “Fantasy Sports Challenge System”. This can be operated by using the Non-fungible token (NFT) player cards for respective sports stars to compete against each other.
Players formulate a virtual line-up using their NFTs in order to play against the virtual line-ups of other gamers. The result of these matches is calculated by using historical evidence or real-life results. This procedure allows the users to increase the value of their play cards which they can subsequently use to sell in the market to generate money.
FC Bayern is known to be one of the most well-known and famous football clubs worldwide. The club has around sixty (60) million followers on social media and around two hundred ninety thousand (290,000) official members of the club. The five-time winner of the Campion’s Trophy, FC Bayern, has won various national and international awards.
In a statement, Chief Executive Officer and founder of Stryking Entertainment Dirk Weyel brought up how their collaboration with FC Bayern was a source of excitement for all of them.
He commended the FC’s fan-base and said that the company tends to introduce more sport-related goods in the future. His vision, according to him, is to formulate a “global hub” where people can enjoy and interact with people of similar interests over the internet.
