Farcana game partners with Arbitrum to strengthen its bid for success

TL;DR Breakdown

  • Farcana, a cutting-edge has decided to build its ecosystem on Arbitrum.
  • Arbitrum’s technology takes blockchain efficiency and scalability to the next level while maintaining Ethereum’s security.

Farcana, a cutting-edge AI-optimized shooter game with a Bitcoin-backed rewards pool featured by a sustainable Play-to-Hash (P2H) economic model, has decided to build its ecosystem on Arbitrum.

Based on the Arbitrum Nova blockchain, Farcana is set to become the top blockchain game.

Arbitrum’s technology takes blockchain efficiency and scalability to the next level while maintaining Ethereum‘s security. Arbitrum can process transactions more efficiently and handle a larger transaction volume, which is critical for supporting widely played games featuring the newest technologies like Farcana.

In the Optimistic Rollup system, transactions are assumed to be valid unless proven otherwise. This method allows processing transactions at a much higher volume than those executed directly on Ethereum’s main network.

Currently, the EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) is limited to Solidity and Vyper languages, but the network upgrade coming this year will allow developers to deploy dApps written in Rust, C, and C++ directly onto the chain. Since traditional game studios are more familiar with these languages, it will provide them with a much better development experience. This EVM+ approach is expected to open the doors for a new wave of developers to join the ecosystem.

But the technological side is only one of Arbitrum’s benefits.

“We were drawn to Arbitrum Nova not only because of their technology but also because of the vibrant Arbitrum community. We are thrilled to become part of this ecosystem and are eager to contribute value to the community. Farcana’s groundbreaking Play-to-Hash reward mechanism and our one-of-a-kind Team-Arena shooter genre will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in shaping Web 3 gaming.”

Said Islam Shazhaev, CBDO at Farcana.

As goes from the statement of David Bolger, partnership manager at Arbitrum gaming, Farcana Arena opening with the web3 elements built on Nova is one of the most thrilling expectations of the year:

“We at Arbitrum are very excited that Farcana is choosing Nova to build the web3 elements of one of the most innovative third-person shooter games we have seen. The Farcana team has been optimizing development for the best player experience. Arbitrum Nova can support this goal with its unparalleled transaction speed and ultra-low cost. We can’t wait for the Farcana Arena to be open for players later this year!”

Arbitrum and Farcana partnering sides’ overview

Arbitrum is a high-speed Ethereum optimistic-rollup technology created by Offchain Labs.

The technology is economical and rapid, transmitting complete transaction data to the primary Ethereum blockchain. Ethereum’s capacity to process transactions stands at a meager 14 per second, whereas its rival technology outpaces it with 40,000 TPS. The cost of completing transactions on Ethereum is several dollars, whereas, on Arbitrum, it is only about two cents.

Farcana is an immersive shooter game that takes full advantage of blockchain technology and Unreal Engine 5. The game is set on Mars, where Earth’s resources are rapidly depleting. As a result, humankind has dispatched expeditions to the Red Planet to search for Infilium, a scarce yet potent energy source.

One of Farcana’s most prominent features is its Bitcoin-backed prize pool, governed by a stable Play-to-Hash (P2H) economic model that has received a patent in the United States. P2H provides gamers with significantly more transparency than the traditional Play-to-Earn model.

Farcana Labs, the scientific and engineering branch of Farcana, provides the gaming industry with AI solutions and wearable hardware. These innovations from Farcana offer players an even more immersive and intuitive gaming experience.
