EDCON 2025 will be held from September 16–19, 2025, at Congrès Square Grand Green Osaka, Japan. Following the success of EDCON Tokyo 2024, this will be the second time the conference takes place in Japan.
This year, linktime and UETH are honored to co-host the event in partnership with Osaka Prefecture and Osaka Innovation Hub (OIH). By deepening collaboration with Japan’s vibrant Web3 communities and public institutions—and leveraging EDCON’s global reach—EDCON 2025 will offer a uniquely interactive and impactful experience that bridges the Eastern and Western Ethereum ecosystems.
With the World Expo 2025 concurrently held in Osaka—drawing up to 30,000 international visitors daily—EDCON 2025 presents a rare opportunity to showcase cutting-edge Web3 technologies and community initiatives to a truly global audience.
Attendees can look forward to an unparalleled experience: connecting with leading blockchain projects and engaging in deep conversations on essential topics such as Cross-L2 interoperability, UX enhancements, peerDAS, the DeFi Renaissance, decentralized acceleration (d/acc), cryptography, and the intersection of AI and crypto.
Super Demo x WaveHack
This year’s Super Demo is getting a major upgrade. To spotlight high-potential Web3 startups and provide both funding and exposure, Super Demo will partner with WaveHack, a flagship event under Japan’s renowned developer community Akindo. Startups that participate in WaveHack’s 14-day builder sprint and receive project validation will earn the opportunity to demo on the Super Demo stage—and potentially compete for a generous prize pool.
