The telecommunications giant has joined forces with an industry group aimed at promoting the integration of AI and Web3 technologies across various sectors. 

The move underscores Deutsche Telekom’s commitment to enhancing security within blockchain services and exploring real-world applications for these cutting-edge technologies.

Deutsche Telekom joins Bosch & Fetch.AI for blockchain security

The foundation, initiated by German industrial behemoth Bosch and Fetch.AI, a blockchain-based platform facilitating the launch of AI innovations, has gained a new ally in Deutsche Telekom. As a member and validator of the Fetch.AI foundation through its IT arm, Deutsche Telekom Multimedia Service (MMS), the company aims to bolster network security during the integration of devices, individuals, and services into blockchain technology.

Transformative tools and services

Fetch.AI’s revolutionary tools leverage autonomous agents to streamline resource management, execute blockchain transactions, and analyze traffic flows within the Web3 ecosystem. These services hold promise across a wide array of sectors, ranging from healthcare to automotive and supply chain management. 

Dirk Roder, Head of Web3 Infrastructure and Solutions at Deutsche Telekom, lauded the collaboration as “groundbreaking,” emphasizing the fusion of industrial applications with the Internet of Things (IoT).

Pioneering partnership

Peter Busch, Head of Distributed Ledger Technology Mobility at Bosch and Chair of the Board at Fetch.AI foundation, hailed the partnership with Deutsche Telekom as a pivotal stride in advancing the realms of AI and Web3 technologies. Busch underscored Deutsche Telekom’s significant contributions to the foundation, leveraging its robust infrastructure and expertise to drive innovation forward. 

Notably, Deutsche Telekom’s involvement extends beyond Fetch.AI, as it also serves as a member and validator of Multiversx, a provider of blockchain architecture tailored for enterprises.
