Businessman and Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong gave his opinion on Apple’s technology company and its disposition towards the crypto market. Armstrong believes that Apple is not in favor of cryptocurrencies. However, more than a decade after the first cryptocurrency, it would be distasteful to mark crypto as a monopoly scheme.

The head of Coinbase added that the American company has yet to get involved in the decentralized market. In previous months, Apple prevented tools from being updated within the Coinbase App.

Brian Armstrong says in his Superstreams broadcast that Apple prevents growth at Coinbase by prohibiting the implementation of new features within the App. Everything points out that Armstrong had a personal fight with the company founded by Steve Jobs in 1976.

Brian Armstrong not only focused his interview on criticizing Apple and its anti-cryptos regulations but also discussed the Coinbase external wallets. According to Armstrong, people are not interested in wallets that only store one type of token, referring to Bitcoin. The businessman believes that his users prefer a wallet that integrates Android and Apple mobile devices.

Brian Armstrong delves into mobile-based wallets claiming this would be part of the future. For Armstrong, this is a refreshing idea that will gain popularity as more people use their wallets on phones due to their portability.

Armstrong’s interview was very direct about plans involving Coinbase and his dissatisfaction with the Apple rules. Although Armstrong was upset by Apple and its latest crypto regulations, the businessman had also strongly criticized the company in previous months. For 2020, the businessman said that Apple did not want Bitcoin to continue growing due to the manager’s opinions.

He also talked about Apple’s obstacles besides the Coinbase credential. Apple has accepted this project since mid-2021, however, the project still has not advanced in functions until now.
