Bitcoin staying strong at $62,500, ARPA and FTM among top gainers Tuesday morning

Bitcoin has been hovering above the $62k price level on Tuesday morning. The price opened at the $62,014 price level and is currently trading at $62.2k. The data from CoinmarketCap suggests that the currency’s trading volume surged by 6.18% in the last 24-hours, currently at $37.2 billion. 

The market dominance of the king crypto surged to 47.12%, while the market capitalization is up by 1.3%, standing at $1.17 trillion. 

The second biggest crypto, Ethereum, is currently trading at a price of $3.8k, with an 89.29 USD price change in the past 24-hours. However, the token’s trading volume is down by 1.18%, standing at 16.7 billion USD.

Bitcoin continues to dominate the market, altcoins remain sideways

Bitcoin is up by more than 41.85% this month, while Ethereum killers like Cardano and Solana have been having a hard time recovering and taking control of higher prices. 

The best performing altcoins for today are Fantom and ARPA tokens. The FTM/USDT pair is currently at $2.43. While the trading volume dropped by 13.91% in the last 24 hours, the prices are up by 9.49%. Also, the market capitalization for the FTM token is up by 11.57%, at $6 billion.

On the other hand, the ARPA token has recorded huge price surges and is currently at $0.18. The token’s price is up by 31.50% in the last 24-hours while the trading volumes surged by more than 196% and are currently at $1.2 billion. The market cap for the ARPA chain rose by more than 30%.

Other tokens like Cardano and Chainlink continue to remain sideways, following a gradual decrease in prices. SOL and LUNA also show a gradual sideways movement.
