The Winklevoss twins, Tyler and Cameron seem to be ignoring their years-long rivalry with Mark Zuckerberg in favor of developing the blockchain technology further in the future.
The founders of Gemini exchange have mentioned that they would be elated to become part of the Libra Association as it now has the biggest chances of introducing a global crypto adoption in the 21st century.
Cameron Winklevoss even commented that there will be a day in the future, where we simply won’t even fathom a time without cryptocurrencies, and that day is getting closer and closer as we speak.
However, the Gemini exchange could be denied by the Libra Association based on what type of companies it’s trying to incorporate. Entities already involved in the crypto business could be a low priority, therefore paving the way for other industry leaders rather than crypto exchanges.
But both brothers commented that before they commit to their decision to foin the Libra Association they need to conduct comprehensive research on the details and methods to be used in the project. Naturally, if it will resemble heavy centralization in any way shape or form, the brothers will refuse.
Winklevoss’ desire to join Libra could not have come at a more opportune moment, as several companies are starting to consider leaving the project as a whole.
