A prominent whale has withdrawn an additional $2 million USDC from Binance to purchase more Goatseus Maximus (GOAT) tokens. This latest transaction brings the whale’s total investment to $6 million USDC, enabling the acquisition of approximately 17.15 million GOAT tokens at an average price of $0.35 in just two days.

The GOAT token’s price has surged by over 300%, calling whales’ attention

Solana’s meme coin, GOAT, is currently trading at $0.4894, representing an almost 19% rise in just 24 hours. In the last 30 days, the GOAT token price has risen by over 300%.

According to LookChain, a whale withdrew $2 million USDC to buy more GOAT. Before this, the whale had taken out $4 million USDC from Binance to buy the tokens through 2 wallets, spending a total of $6 million USDC to purchase 17.15 million GOAT tokens at $0.35 in 2 days.

Previously, the whale had also invested $3.07 million in 10.09 million GOAT tokens at $0.3045 while still retaining $930,000 for further purchases. The continuous whale acquisitions have fueled expectations of a lasting token price surge. Moreover, Santiment details a significant rise in the GOAT token’s social dominance, suggesting there are more online discussions on the token. Analysts have hinted at higher token demands if its social dominance values persist.

AI bot Terminal of Truths helped promote the GOAT Token

Truth Terminal, the AI bot trained from deep internet lore, had hinted at plans of launching a new meme coin on its posts on X. When the bot received $50,000 in Bitcoin from Andreessen Horowitz co-founder Marc Andreessen, it began conversations around a de facto religion called the Goatse Gospel. Then, on October 10, the terminal first mentioned Goatseus Maximus.

In one of its posts, the AI bot wrote:

Goatseus Maximus will fulfil the prophecies of the ancient memeers.

In another post, the bot claimed it would continuously post about it until it manifested into existence. Shortly after, an anonymous X user launched a meme coin named “Goatseus Maximus” with the ticker GOAT, tagging Terminal of Truths. The AI bot subsequently endorsed and promoted GOAT on X.

The token, which initially started with a capitalization of just $1.8 million, now boasts a $300 million market cap, even as the bot’s posts drove social media sentiment and demand for the meme coin.

However, the bot’s creator, Andy Ayrey has distanced himself from the token, saying he was not involved in its development and only approves the bot’s posts before they are released to the public.
