Multicoin and Solana investor David Sacks is holding his first press conference at the Dirksen Senate Office Building, as the White House Crypto Czar, where he is expected to announce industry leaders who will join President Donald Trump’s newly-formed advisory council.

The expected appointees are likely to come from Ripple, Crypto.com, Coinbase, and USDC issuer Circle.

Sacks is expected to pick some advisors to join the council, which will, among other tasks, propose federal rules and regulations to prioritize the national digital asset stockpile as well as prioritize digital assets in general. This is in line with the executive order that President Trump signed.

According to Protos, if stablecoin-friendly advocates like Fairshake make it to the press conference, then Sack’s new advisory council will be expected to start their work by reassigning the SEC away from the crypto industry.
