TL;DR

Reports have come in that TRON’s Beijing office has been stormed by several dozen angry Ponzi scheme victims today and the staff that was on duty had to deal with the stress. Reports were shown where the Chinese police were forced to hold off the mob in order to maintain peace.

As already reported by Cryptopolitan, TRON was associated with quite a large Ponzi scheme where investors lost as much as $30 million. This all started in Russia where a company assumed TRON’s name and was even mentioning their affiliation with the foundation.

The angst was caused by Justin Sun’s inactivity about the issue as he didn’t say anything about the scammers.

However, some TRON supporters have come out with quotes from Sun saying how the market is full of Ponzi schemes and how he is warning the community to be careful.

However, it seems to have gone over the heads of these victims as they’re still next to the office demanding justice.

At this point, there is very little that TRON could do as there is no direct responsibility from their sides. Many TRON supporters are saying that it is up to the investors’ due diligence to see such blatant scams and not fall for them.

Furthermore, whenever TRON opens a new subsidiary or any company for that matter, Justin Sun is the first to announce it. Having him be so silent should have been a definite red flag.
