Transak, a Web3 fiat on-ramp platform, has listed HYPE, the native token for Hyperliquid. HYPE has been designed as a purpose-built Layer 1 for perpetual trading with self-custody capability. Transak CEO, Sami Start, was happy to support the integration of HYPE into their fiat on-ramp ecosystem.
The integration allows users to purchase HYPE directly using credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and local payment agents. According to Sealaunch data on Dune Analytics, Hyperliquid processed $248 billion in perpetual futures volume in May. By mid-2025, the Hyperliquid ecosystem had over 2 million active wallets and had processed over $1.9 trillion in perpetual volume. During the same period, the company had also powered more than 100 dApps across trading, DeFi, and liquidity.
HYPE surges 5.3% today after the listing
HYPE, the native token for Hyperliquid, has seen a 5.3% surge in price today. The 24h trading volume skyrocketed by 62.75% today, currently at $345 million. The surge has mainly been triggered by a positive investor confidence following the announcement of its listing on Transak, a fiat on-ramp platform. In June, the token trading activity had a $208 billion volume compared to $410 billion combined volume from other perpetual exchanges. According to DeFiLlama data, Hyperliquid is number four in trading volume and total value locked among decentralized perpetual swap platforms.

Transak revealed its commitment to supporting HYPE integration and delivering timely access to emerging ecosystems. It also opened access to over 8.3 million users to go on-chain with features such as Light KYC flows, KYC Reliance, and region-specific payment methods.
Jeff Dorman believes HYPE is still undervalued
Binance reportedly revealed plans to list HYPE earlier this month, resulting in a bullish move of the HYPE token. Binance Futures listed the token on May 30, which triggered a 10% move within hours. Binance U.S later confirmed that it will enable spot trading for HYPE after the surge.
Jeff Dorman, Chief Investment Officer at Arca, a digital asset trading firm, argued that Hyperliquid’s high Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV) doesn’t necessarily imply overvaluation. He added that FDV is the most irrelevant metric. Although Market cap matters, including future expected results offset by buybacks, it excludes tokens that may never be issued. He believes HYPE is still cheap given the earnings and growth data.
