The change of French policies towards cryptocurrencies has received appreciation across the country. In fact, Tobacco traders across the nation have revealed that they will allow customers to buy cryptocurrencies from their vendors.
France’s National Federation of Tobacco Vendors has given the green light to more than 25000 vendors across the country to sell cryptos. Initially, rumors rose that the move was made by the Bank of France. However, the bank was quick to clarify that it was Federation of Tobacco Vendors’ authority to make this move.
The Vendors were allowed to sell Bitcoin and Ethereum starting next year. Most tobacco vendors in France are very similar to convenience stores and also allow customers to participate in many different lottery and games.
This will be even more helpful for people with little to no technical expertise to get into the crypto market. This method while being easy is also very efficient and wastes little time.
This system will be implementing KeplerK and customers will be receiving a receipt with a code on their investments. This code can then be used through their cell phones to access the KeplerK platform.
It is not clear that whether this would allow users to buy items from the stores using their cryptocurrencies. This has created hype for crypto-enthusiasts across the nation, and sources are claiming that at least 3000 vendors will be ready for crypto sales on the very first day of 2019.
However, it is still unclear as to how much use cryptocurrencies really have and how will it affect their usage on a day-to-day basis.
