The International Longevity Summit Madrid Returns in 2026 at One of Spain’s Most Prestigious Scientific Venues

World-leading experts in longevity science, preventive medicine and rejuvenation biology to convene in Madrid on September 30–October 1
Madrid, July 2026 — The International Longevity Summit Madrid (ILS) announces its 2026 edition, to be held on September 30 and October 1, 2026 at the Royal National Academy of Medicine of Spain (RANM), Calle Arrieta 12, Madrid — the oldest and most prestigious medical institution in the country, founded in 1734.
The Summit brings together world-leading scientists, physicians, entrepreneurs, investors and media around the science and business of longevity, preventive medicine and biological rejuvenation. Spain is the country with the highest life expectancy in the European Union, with the Community of Madrid leading all EU regions at 86.1 years of life expectancy at birth — well above the EU average of 81.5 years — consolidating Madrid as a true “Blue Zone 2.0”.
A World-Class Speaker Lineup
Confirmed international speakers include Peter Diamandis (Founder, XPRIZE Foundation), Michel Poulain (co-creator of the “Blue Zones” concept), Eric Topol (Scripps Research), Guido Kroemer (Université Paris-Descartes), Brian Kennedy (Director, Center for Healthy Longevity, NUS), Aubrey de Grey (Founder, LEV Foundation), João Pedro de Magalhães (University of Birmingham), Valentin Fuster (Mount Sinai), María Blasco (CNIO) and Phil Newman(Founder, Longevity.Technology), among others.
An Exclusive and Intimate Format
The 2026 edition takes place in the intimate and historic Main Hall (Salón de Actos) of the RANM, offering an exclusive setting that fosters high-density networking between scientists, clinicians, entrepreneurs and investors. Places are strictly limited and are expected to sell out in advance.
Pre-Conference Cultural Programme
On September 28–29, as a prelude to the Summit, attendees are invited to join a curated tour of six UNESCO World Heritage cities — Alcalá de Henares, Aranjuez, Ávila, El Escorial, Segovia and Toledo — together with international speakers and guests, celebrating the culture and spirit of Spain: the Land of Plus Ultra.
