In this post:

  • Radix announced the launch of RadQuest, a fully mobile-first Web3 gamified onboarding platform backed by $14.1M.
  • According to Radix, RadQuest is a crucial milestone in the Breakout 2024 plan.
  • Radix introduced Jetty to guide Radvocates throughout RadQuest by ‘showing’, not ‘telling’ as they complete mobile-friendly quests.

Radix announced the release of RadQuest, which ensured that all assets within the Radix ecosystem behaved predictably. According to Radix, predictability simplified asset management and allowed users to understand and interact easily with their holdings.

According to Radix, a future where DeFi and Web3 were available for any willing participant was part of their vision. The Web3 solutions provider claimed that RadQuest embodied its vision by shifting from ‘telling’ to ‘showing’ Radix benefits through interactive quests and hands-on experiences.

Radix uses RadQuest to simplify the Web3 onboarding problem

According to Radix, RadQuest would be a fully mobile-ready Web3 gamified onboarding platform enabling anyone to onboard Web3 on the layer-1 DeFi protocol. Radix disclosed that RadQuest would provide the Radvocates community with tools to ‘show’ rather than ‘tell’ users why the Radix ecosystem was the future of DeFi and Web3. Developed in collaboration with ustwo, the digital studio behind the award-winning mobile game Monument Valley, RadQuest aimed to provide an educational introduction to the Radix ecosystem.

Radix affirmed the introduction of Jetty, an animated guide to welcome Radix network users through RadQuest. According to Radix, Jetty would lead users through their adventure to better understand Radix and the network features that solve common DeFi issues. Radix declared that Jetty was meant to help users through RadQuest’s mobile-friendly quests while rewarding them with Gift boxes and $XRD as they completed quests.

According to Radix, users could create collectible and unique RadMorph NFTs by combining special on-chain items found in Gift boxes. Radix confirmed that all Gift boxes, RadMorphs, Elements, Morph Energy Cards, and Radgems were tradable on secondary marketplaces with decentralized image hosting on Arweave.

Radix mentioned that there were over 3,000 unique RadMorph combinations with varying intricate 3D designs, quality scores, and rarity levels.

The future of RadQuest in the Breakout 2024 plan

Radix declared that RadQuest was a key milestone in the Breakout 2024 scheme but with more exciting integrations and events on the horizon. With the MayaChain integration, Radix affirmed that it would enable the trustless movement of assets in and out of Radix, unlocking new routes for over $60 billion TVL.

According to Radix, Token2049 in Singapore would promote RadQuest while showcasing the Radix tech stack. Moreover, the second round of SuperStaking would be released on Ociswap to add $7.5 million to Radix TVL. Radix asserted that the record-breaking Cassandra research network throughput test aiming for over 1 million swaps per second was in the planning phase.
