Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stated that his company will continue to balance legal compliance with technological progress under Donald Trump’s incoming administration. Despite the concerns over U.S.-China tensions.
This week, Nvidia’s quarterly revenue was recorded as high due to increasing demand for AI chips. However, investors are concerned about the rising tensions between the US and China as Trump begins his term.
Huang said that no matter what happens with the new administration, Nvidia will keep following the laws, keep improving its technology, and continue supporting customers worldwide. He believes cooperation will carry on.
Jensen Huang was in Hong Kong to collect his doctorate in engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. In his university speech, Huang declared that “the age of AI has started,” highlighting China’s key role in AI and “AI is the most important technology of our time, and potentially of all times,”
There he told the reporters that “whatever happens, we’ll balance simultaneously compliance with laws and policies, continue to advance our technology, and support and serve customers all over the world”.

Huang stressed that AI research and development should remain open and global by stating, “Open science and open research in AI is global, and nothing in the future will stop that.”
