KuCoin becomes Tomorrowland Winter hotspot with thematic special edition KuCard for collectors

- KuCoin will unveil a Tomorrowland Winter design Visa card, with early-access waitlist available at the KuCoin Base Point.
- The Tomorrowland limited-edition KuCard virtual card will be released at a later stage and in limited quantities.
- KuCoin is making moves to become synonymous with the biggest internet trends and pop culture moments.
KuCoin’s booth is expected to see a lot of foot traffic throughout the Tomorrowland Winter festival, riding on the hype generated by the event-inspired limited edition KuCard teased in announcements ahead of the arrival of guests to this year’s venue in Alpe d’Huez, France.
The thematic KuCard release is part of the global exchange’s partnership with Tomorrowland, the organizers of the event that has become one of the world’s most iconic electronic dance music (EDM) festivals, headlined and praised by David Guetta on multiple occasions.
According to KuCoin, any one of the 24,000 people expected to be in attendance on each day for Tomorrowland Winter 2026, which started March 21 and runs through the 28th in Alpe d’Huez, France, can get an early preview of the Tomorrowland Limited-Edition KuCard.
They can also sign up to the waitlist to receive one of the limited quantities of the card to ever be issued if they visit the KuCoin Base Point in the Main Festival Area.
What is the Tomorrowland limited edition KuCard?
The Tomorrowland limited edition of the KuCard is a Visa card that features the luminous green particle motifs of the festival’s aesthetics of light, motion, and futuristic storytelling on the official card of KuCoin’s digital payment ecosystem.
The KuCard allows holders to complete crypto-backed payments across millions of outlets that accept Visa cards. Currently, the KuCard Visa is available to citizens and residents of the 30 countries that make up the European Economic Area (EEA), Malta not included.
As explained in the official documentation, the Tomorrowland limited-edition KuCard virtual card will be released at a later stage and in limited quantities after the extended rollout of the KuCard on the Visa network.
The card design and sign-up sheet for the early-access waitlist for the Tomorrowland limited edition KuCard will be available at the KuCoin Base Point in the Main Festival Area.
Festival attendees who sign up for the waitlist will jump to the front of the queue for updates and access to the card when it is released publicly.
Speaking about the card, BC Wong, CEO of KuCoin, said:
“Tomorrowland brings together a global community around creativity, music, and shared experiences. Introducing the Tomorrowland Limited-Edition KuCard in this environment reflects how digital finance can connect with culture in meaningful ways. Through this collaboration, we hope to explore how crypto-enabled payments can gradually integrate into everyday experiences, while giving early supporters of the KuCard ecosystem an opportunity to engage with the concept at an early stage.”
KuCoin enters pop culture spotlight
The timing of the debut of the Tomorrowland Winter festival-inspired Visa KuCard design is the latest move by the exchange to insert itself into the biggest moments of pop culture.
Earlier this year, the exchange became one of the premium venues to list the Official 67 Coin (67) after the “six-seven” trend hit peak popularity status and even earned Dictionary.com’s 2025 Word of the Year title by merging internet virality with NBA influence and Hip-Hop culture.
In February, it also teased over 2.7 million USDT to mark the launch of its KuCoin Live feature, as part of the financial and reputation awards for participants in its livestreaming platform. That launch intended to tap into a vibrant audience segment that has made streamers new-age celebrities.
In December 2025, KuCoin’s brand film with Casual Films and Adam Scott won four Platinum and one Gold distinction at last year’s Vega Digital Awards, the second edition of the competition.
Speaking about the achievement at the time, Wong said: “This award is not only a recognition of our creative expression, but also a reflection of KuCoin’s steady progress in building a compliant and trustworthy presence in global markets.”
He also committed to “drive the industry forward responsibly, creating content that brings greater clarity and confidence to users around the world.”
The on-site activation for the limited edition Tomorrowland KuCard is in line with the commitment by the executive as well as the festival’s “Guided into the Future” theme, as KuCoin “connects digital technology, culture, and future payment experiences within the Tomorrowland environment.”
