Although cryptocurrencies managed to recover from the lows of 2018 and established fast-paced bulls, top coins short bull runs have put some hope back into the market.
However, a correction stomped the prices once again as Bitcoin’s price fell from over thirteen thousand eight hundred dollars ($13,800) to below nine thousand and five hundred dollars ($9,500).
Now, once again the bulls seem to be rearing their heads as all of the top five cryptocurrencies begin seeing green once again. As all of the top five cryptocurrencies by market cap is also known as the fab five have seen price rises across today’s session.
Among the top five, Bitcoin Cash had the best performance with a price rise of over five percent (5%) followed by Litecoin (LTC) with over three percent (3.21%) gains. Meanwhile, Ripple (XRP), Ethereum (ETH) and Bitcoin saw gains of three percent (3.03%), almost three percent (2.96%), and over two and a half percent (2.62%) respectively.
The gross market cap for the crypto market now stands at two hundred and seventy billion dollars ($270 billion). The trade volume has also begun to rise with it hovering around $46.9B at the time of writing.
Bitcoin’s price has jumped back above the ninety-eight hundred dollars ($9,800) mark and is now trying to climb over ten thousand one hundred dollars ($10,100).
Bitcoin is trading at nine thousand seven hundred and thirty-seven dollars ($10,037) at the time of writing. Furthermore, Bitcoin’s dominance on the crypto market has grown significantly as Bitcoin now accounts for almost sixty-eight percent (67.7 %) of the crypto market cap.
Meanwhile, Ethereum remains the second-largest cryptocurrency with the market cap of almost twenty-three billion dollars ($22.8B). Ethereum’s price is hovering at two hundred and sixteen dollars ($216) with a bullish outlook across the short-term charts. Key resistance lies at two hundred and twenty dollars ($220) and price may surge significantly if this resistance is overcome.
Ripple XRP’s price is 0.30 dollars at the time of writing and has a bullish outlook. The price action tried to surge above 0.32 dollars but could not keep the momentum for long. XRP’s market cap is over thirteen and a half billion dollars ($13.69B) with trading price currently at 0.319230 dollars.
Bitcoin Cash’s price is currently three hundred and twenty-four dollars ($324.190) with a market cap of almost six billion dollars ($5.80B). Meanwhile, Litecoin’s price is hovering at almost ninety-two and a half dollars ($92.450).
On the other hand, UNUS SED LEO (LEO) is the only crypto among the top twenty to see a decrease in its price.
