Per the latest developments, Coronavirus Ethereum Paris Conference attack has been confirmed with as many as seven victims.
Initially six people who were among the participants of the EthCC conference had been diagnosed with coronavirus. In current circumstances of crisis, the decision to suspend significant crypto events seems to be the right call.
The cryptocurrency sphere has been affected by the Coronavirus but that is a topic for another time, right now the aspect that is of concern is that seven leading developers from the Ethereum community have been confirmed positive for COVID19 after their participation in EthCC at Paris.
The Coronavirus Ethereum Paris Conference (EthCC) attack came in Paris while the event was held for three days 3rd March-5th March 2020. The first person to have tested positive for the virus was Zhen Yu Yong, the co-founder of Torus Labs: decentralized financial ecosystems. Yong disclosed the news of him being diagnosed with the coronavirus just three days ago and has requested everyone who met him to get tested.
Yong was also considering the possibility of him getting the virus at EthLondon or EthDenver conferences. Just last night, the attendees of the Paris conference verified that six more cases have been diagnosed with coronavirus

- Jacques Dafflon, Author of ERC-777 token standard,
- Marco of Gnosis PM,
- Johannes Pfeffer of Atpar.io,
- Werner Jacob, Crypto Enthusiast and Investment Banker,
- The seventh case was reported by Lefteris Karapetsas of Rotki but did not disclosed the name of the infected person
