Coolio is back!
No, not in the flesh, but in the Metaverse, where the late rapper’s digital alter ego is now chilling. This resurrection comes just in time for the 30th anniversary of his hit “Gangsta’s Paradise,” and it’s all going down on the Metaverse platform, NetVRk.
Fans can now interact with a hyper-intelligent AI version of Coolio, thanks to some tech nerds who clearly don’t know when to let a legend rest. But hey, if anyone’s going to get a second shot at life, why not the guy who once ruled the airwaves?
Before he passed away in September 2022, Coolio was deep into the Metaverse scene, buying up virtual land like it was prime real estate in Beverly Hills.
In a podcast a few months before he died, he was all about how this digital world was where the future was headed, unless, you know, the internet decided to crash and burn. He even bragged about his Metaverse investment, saying it would pay off big time.
