The announcement on the COD: Black Ops 6 official blog mentioned that fans could access exciting features, including the ‘on movement’ addition to Black Ops 6. The omnimovement mechanic allows players to sprint, dive, or slide in all directions instead of only forward. A Call of Duty podcast also disclosed that players cannot toggle on movement off.

Players can also explore more game innovations from Treyarch, including brand-new maps. There will also be classic and new modes, loadout building, equipment, weapons, rewards, and more.

The reveal also promised COD fans more updates in the coming weeks, explaining more about the game, campaigns, zombie content, and more. The COD team assured fans it would also communicate with them if the multiplayer beta live date changed.

COD reveal details about open beta and requirements

The first weekend of the beta Early Access requires players to pre-order the game on any available platforms, including Xbox, PS, Microsoft Store, and Steam. Players can take advantage of the additional benefits of pre-ordering the game.
