BTCC cryptocurrency exchange platform has announced Jared Jackson Jr. as its first global sports ambassador. The collaboration aims to connect professional sports with cryptocurrency through marketing campaign initiatives, fan engagement, and promotions. 

Jackson Jr. is an NBA player known for his defensive prowess and cultural influence on the pitch. He will feature signed merchandise and prize pools to drive cryptocurrency awareness. He will also discuss BTCC’s trading services, such as futures and copy trading. This partnership is the first step for BTCC to add sports sponsorships, connecting professional basketball with cryptocurrency. 

Collaboration between BTCC and Jackson Jr. aims to drive global crypto adoption

BTCC was started in 2011 as a digital asset exchange platform and has licenses in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. The exchange revealed that it has over 9.1 million global user-base accumulated through the 14 years of operations. The company offers varied services including spot and futures trading with up to 500x leverage. 

Jackson Jr. is a Memphis Grizzlies player in the NBA. He has been named to the All-Defensive team three times and was the NBA Defensive Player of the Year in 2023. Jackson Jr. has averaged 18.5 points and 5.5 rebounds over 407 games with Memphis.

The NBA defensive star has displayed special interests off the pitch through business, music, and fashion, positioning himself as a renowned influencer. BTCC acknowledged that the collaboration will use its influence to expand its user base while marketing its products and fan engagement. 

The crypto exchange firm highlighted that the collaboration will bring to light its trading products, such as futures trading, copy trading, and the demo trading platform. It added that Jackson Jr.’s fans will have direct access to exclusive content and activities, such as competitions to win signed merchandise.

Jackson revealed his excitement about joining BTCC’s family, acknowledging their business experience for over a decade now. He added that basketball and long-term financial planning require discipline and focus, making the partnership a natural step for him.  

Aaryn Ling, Head of Branding at BTCC, revealed that the NBA all-star brings authenticity, consistency, and a championship mindset to BTCC values by which they have built the company upon throughout the past 14 years. Ling reiterated the goal of the partnership to over hype its business.
