Bitcoin BTC price passes $13,000: Price jumps nearly $1000 in under an hour

Bitcoin has overcome all odds and has passed the $13,000 price point just short of an hour ago, as the price jumped more than $1000 in less than 40 minutes.
The coin was staying between the $12,500 – $12,800 price points for the majority of the day when it finally made a huge push at the $12.783 mark and jumped to $13,560 in less than an hour.

Although the price has been corrected a little bit, trading at $13,290 at press time, the coin is now setting its gaze towards the $14,000 price level which could be broken before the end of the week.
Should this evening prove to be as bullish as yesterday’s BTC has the potential of breaking the $16,000 resistance by 1st of July 2019.
However, if the trend is solely based on the fear of missing out (FOMO) then anything is possible since the Bitcoin price can take any direction in the hours to come.
