All the big Xbox Series X/S games coming soon: October and November 2024 releases

October and November are big months for Xbox Series X/S players, with over 80 games released for the Microsoft consoles. The new releases include titles such as Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred DLC and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The list will also include remastered versions of other fan-favorite games.

The end of the year is set to be big for Xbox console players as they get over 100 new games in two months. The games released will cater to the needs of gamers of all ages and tastes, including action shooter games, arcade games, and remakes of classic games.

Major Xbox releases in October 2024

Players with Xbox consoles will get to pick from a list of 88 games that will include several anticipated games.

Perhaps the biggest game expected in October is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the latest iteration of the blockbuster first-person shooter that will be released on October 25th.

Players can also experience an emotional, narrative-driven game when Life Is Strange: Double Exposure drops on October 29, giving players more captivating characters and thought-provoking choices.

South Park: The Fractured but Whole (October 16) and MechWarrior 5: Clans (October 17) are two highly-rated, unique games to watch in October.

Gamers who prefer fighter titles will be catered for when Undisputed, the new boxing game, releases on October 11. RPG fans also have something to look forward to with Bioware releasing its new game, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, on October 31.

Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred was released on October 8, adding more DLC content for players to explore in the franchise. New World: Aeternum will also meet the needs of MMO fans as it finally crosses over from PC on October 15. 

October is also expected to bring more remakes and revamped games with Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero (October 11), Sonic X Shadow: Generations (October 25), Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition (October 15), Blasphemous 2 – Mea Culpa (October 31) and Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered (October 31) debuting.

While Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero adds a new game to the Budokai Tenkaichi series, the other titles featured are polished remakes of fan-favorite games with polished mechanics and graphics.

Major Xbox releases for November 2024

The trend is expected to continue into November, with blockbuster games also being featured along with returning, revamped classic games.

The top new games due for release in November are S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl (November 20), Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (November 19), and Genshin Impact (November 20).

While S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 continues its foray into the franchise, Genshin Impact finally makes its long-awaited debut on Xbox consoles. On the other hand, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is set to push the boundaries of what gaming hardware could do, just like its predecessor did when released in 2020.

November will also get its notable revamped games with Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration Expanded Edition (November 8), Acro-Bat: Rascal Rival Revenge (November 1), and Goat Simulator Remastered (November 7) being released. Atari 50 will feature iconic titles from Atari’s golden age, with more content added to them. The games are all set to feature updated graphics and mechanics, and in the case of Goat Simulator Remastered, all the games released DLCs to provide more absurd mayhem for fans to enjoy.
