Axie Infinity Homeland Avatar mode is now live

After an Open Beta Test that ran from 17th July – 24th July, the Homeland Avatar mode in Axie Infinity is now live for all players. All data from the beta test has been reset, and players can now start fresh with a new account.

Axie Infinity Homeland Avatar mode allows players to roam Lunacia with their axie. Players can visit different plots, explore different villages like Evergreen, Winterblue, Hazymoon, and Goldenwind. They also have the option to chat with other players in the local, general, and world channels.

Players can now chat with other Lunacians

The Axie Infinity Homeland Avatar Mode now consists of a chat feature that allows players to engage in conversations in the local or world channels. There are various chat channels for different purposes.

For instance, the General Chat lets players converse with all the players in Homeland. On the other hand, the local chat is restricted to the player’s immediate vicinity. They can use this chat to connect with other nearby Lunacians.

There’s also a Global Chat that broadcasts messages to all players in Homeland, suitable for making announcements, organizing meetups, and group activities.

Premier Bounty Board now features Axie Avatar Mode quests

The Axie Infinity team has added Avatar Mode quests to the Premier Bounty Board. In the coming week, players will be able to earn bounties from these quests, and the quests will appear under the Homeland category.

While some of the quests do not require players to play as a steward or own a land plot, they do need to own an axie to access the Avatar Mode.

To get started with the Avatar Mode, please can first choose their preferred server in-game and then choose their preferred axie NFT. However, since this NFT will represent players in Lunacia, a player can only choose one axie at a time.
