It is all systems go for the 2019 World Series of Crypto Trading Contest. The contest will kick off on June 20th and will allow crypto traders and any interested person to test and show off their skills versus other traders globally. It will offer a safe environment for everyone to see who some of the best traders on earth are.

The event will be hosted on the Waves DEX platform. Waves DEX is that all-in-one blockchain platform for programming new tokens, smart contracts and offering a platform for their exchange all in the intention to further develop Web 3.0.

How do you take part in the contest? You do not need to invest any money or register with any fees. All that interested contestants need to do is install the Waves Keeper app from the event’s website and link a telegram account.

Traders will not be using real tokens to trade but the prizes will be in real Wave tokens that can be swapped for real money or traded for other tokens. The competition is purely for fun but who knows? You may end up learning a lot and earning a lot of money while at it.

Once registered, every contestant receives a demo ($100,000) to trade once the competition begins. This demo (USD) will be used to trade against demo (BTC) and demo (ETH). Note that there will be no possibility to continue trading the demo tokens once the competition is over as it will all be reverted back to demo (USD).

The competition and prize rules show that all participants who still have an excess of the demo ($100,000) will qualify for the winners’ pool.

1st place gets 5000 Waves.

2nd place gets 3000 Waves.

3rd place gets 2000 Waves.

The rest of the traders who got over demo ($100,000) but did not manage to win top-three will split 3000 Waves prorated to their profits on the initial demo capital. Sasha Ivanov, the CEO of Waves was delighted to have the Waves blockchain platform chosen to develop the whole event. He promises that Waves DEX exchange will, in turn, make sure that the whole event is carried out with utmost transparency and reliability.

WSOC is a year-long competition which usually tests a contestant’s trading ability in different aspects such as futures, forex, binary options, and equities. Previously, there had been no category covering cryptos and that is why WSOC and Waves DEX opted to include it this time around.

Promising traders can use the competition to launch their careers in commodity trading and become some of the best advisors even on the organizer’s network. Money aside, entrants can benefit from the free opportunity to build their names and careers.

The competition that has been going on for 34 years can foster the expansion of crypto trading and build more familiarity with how the traders’ community operates. It is a risk-free and cost-free trick to help people learn real-world crypto trading and understand the behavior of the cryptos world.
