What’s the Good News for 72 Million Children in the Primary Education Age NOT in School

TL;DR

English Forward Signs Memorandum of Agreement with Max Property Group

Education remains an unreachable right for millions of children around the globe. Currently, upward of 72 million children in the primary education age (five to 12 years) are not in school and 759 million adults are illiterate. How can you help so many even if you empathize with the children of the poor?

I am convinced that any intervention that seeks to meaningfully roll back poverty–whether it is microfinance, education, primary health care, housing or access to basic services such as water and energy–must fulfill two primary conditions. The first is scale where the solution can reach even a few thousands of 3 billion. The second is permanence, whether this solution can remain adaptable for generations to come.

Those conditions were met in the Memorandum of Agreement (MOU) signed this week between English Forward and Max Property Group which puts together two groups aiming to go past geographical and legal restrictions to allow participation in a blended blockchain ecosystem for qualifiers. With the MOU, we can project on a backwoods population being helped by English teachers on the blockchain, more students enabled to pursue higher courses on earn-as-you-learn arrangements, and a whole new world of opportunities opening up through education.

The Max Property Group (MPG) is founded by real estate professionals, working together to make property investing safer, cheaper and easier. Its brainchild, Max Crowdfund platform, makes traditional investments globally accessible and more affordable.

English Forward LTD is a Q&A and community website in the learn English education space, currently creating a whole English platform with all the features and functions needed to function within the English language atmosphere and language protocol, incorporating a peer to peer marketplace, language school leads service, English language jobs board, tutoring functionality, and a token economy, on the blockchain system..

MPG creates projects where people can invest safely. It is an established company with a very solid track record. Teachers can invest due to the integrated platforms of EF and MPG where trust is built. Investing in English Forward means supporting its advocacy to help those without access to a good education and opportunities made possible by its tie-up with MPG.

Here’s the backdrop to that monumental event…

Blockchain to the Rescue of 72 Million Children

Mitch Rankin, the CEO of English Forward, is a dear friend and we often go surfing and talk about sundry things in between. In one such moment of leisure, he turned to me and said, “Do you think about the 72 Million children out there who cannot access educational institutions because of financial incapacity?” Here’s a word I can associate with them:

“Sonder n. the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own—populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness—an epic story that continues invisibly around you like an anthill sprawling deep underground, with elaborate passageways to thousands of other lives that you’ll never know existed, in which you might appear only once, as an extra sipping coffee in the background, as a blur of traffic passing on the highway, as a lighted window at dusk.”

I can think of another word related to “sonder”, which is “asunder” which means apart; divided like in “those whom God hath joined together let no man put asunder” or into pieces as in “the desk burst asunder”. We are meant to be on this planet helping out one another, whether we find ourselves with more – or less –  to get by with.

Both EF and MPG advocate decentralized systems for reforming traditional backward systems which restrain innovation and faster growth, through the blockchain. They both recognize that there is sufficient synergy between the two companies to warrant a collaboration and cross-promotion of the individual businesses to their growing databases, one that will benefit both communities and be of value to each other as they grow in the blockchain space

The problem of poverty and consequent illiteracy seems insurmountable by the size of the population affected globally – but there are groups helping out through the decentralized, nonjudgmental, nonracial blockchain which can fast track solutions with due diligence!

Here’s a shout out to those with enough to spare – get on the blockchain soon and be secured together with 72 Million children around the globe!
