Venga, a crypto application developed in Barcelona with operating licenses in Spain and Poland, is now available for download on the iOS App Store. The application enables users to buy, sell, and swap cryptocurrencies on the Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tron blockchains.
Onboarding the next million Web3 users
Big Tech’s dominance over the Internet and its control over personal data has fueled the demand for its decentralization. Hailed as the next generation of the Internet, Web3 offers global digital rails to aid independence and innovation.
According to a paper published by a16z, a renowned Silicon Valley Venture Capital firm, data ownership and monetization will result in new business models in the Web3 era. The paper advocated for technology that would unlock opportunities for millions of users while enabling them to take control of their digital lives.
DeFi and Web3 innovations emerge every other day but are often difficult to discover, understand, and use. The complexity of the crypto space and the steep learning curve have created significant hurdles to onboarding the next million users, creating opportunities for bridging the gap.
Complete data ownership and privacy through blockchain technology may seem dystopian because adoption is insignificant and limited to crypto-savvy individuals. There is a need to address the entry-level friction in the blockchain space.
This is where the launch of applications like Venga comes in.
“For too long, crypto apps have been constrained by suboptimal UX and poor technology. Venga aims to fix all of these issues by placing the tools for decentralized finance in the hands of everyday users and providing the knowledge necessary to discover, invest, and navigate the digital economy.” – Venga CEO Michael Stroev.
